So I went to Dracula's Ball last night. Aparently my latex shirt was a hit. People were all touching me left and right. A couple of girls asked me to take pics with them. It was a very cool night, but there was this chick from Turkey who would not leave me alone. She was beautiful and all but damn. Every time I turned around she had her hands all over me, tryin to get me to dance. Normaly it wouldve been cool but with the AC busted in that place, wearing latex was fucking unbearable. I sure as hell wasnt going to dance in it. All in all it was a great wrap up to a great weekend. Sat night was Doug's goin away party so the whole crew got together at Pauls. Which I wasnt thrilled about cause the last time I saw him he was blitzed and fucking obnoxious. Demo punched him in the head that night. Oh's well Ive got the day off today so Im goin out to have some fun.

Time Warp!
Yesterday I woke up and went to work, then right after that went to school and had a test, then went over John's and watched Farenheit 9/11. Which was ok I thought, nothing too shocking. The only part I found concerning was when they said that Saudi Arabia owned 6 to 7 percent of America. I wonder how many states is 6 to 7 percent of America? You know? One state is 1/50th. Thats too much for another country to have wrapped up in our interests. But anyway, after Johns I got a call from my friend Megan. She was like, Im in Philly come hang out. I was beat as hell but Im sure glad I did. She was at her friends loft on 2nd and Market. This place was fucking sweet. There was a roof deck that overlooked Penns Landing. Damn I would love a view like that. The whole place was fucking beutiful, its gotta cost a fortune to live there. Well, we drank wine till 4 in the morning. And mind you I was already drunk from John's. Also, I had to work today so I got up at 6:30 feeling like I went nine rounds with a dominatrix. Fast foward to the nap immeadiately after, and its now 7:30 and I just woke up. Time flies when youre......

Just bought my Draculas Ball ticket tonight! I can't wait, I took off the day after so I can stay out late. And damn do I need it. You know when life just seems to kick in to high gear for no reason? Thats what it feels like lately. Ive got midterms tomorrow. And Ive been puttin in overtime for the past few weeks. I still gotta drag my ass out to one of the haunted house things. I always wanted to see what inside the penitentary looks like. Before I moved to Philly I used to hang out with these girls who lived the next block down from it. Damn those were good parties. But anyway Im gonna cut this short cause I gotta study.

Damn good day
My old man came out to visit me today for the first time in years. Its not that we're estranged, hes just got this thing about the city. And since I usually visit him once a month or so theres usually no reason for him to come out and see me. But it was great, we went to eat at a seafood restaurant in the Italian Market and then I brought him over to my studio. I think I impressed the hell out of him. He was like, damn youre really lucky to have all this going on. Hehe. It feels so good to hear that cause when I was young and told him I was going to be an artist he doubted that I could make a living at it. So after he left I got a six pack and watched the TLC special on the excavation of the Medici family's tomb. That was fucking cool. If you don't know who they are, they pretty much funded and were responsible for the Renaisance. The world can thank them for DaVinci and Michaelangelo and dozens of other artists. Other than that, last night I went to the Barbary for the first time. Its not bad there. I just wish I knew some people to hang out with at goth events. You see all my friends are in the arts clique and simply wouldn't enjoy it. It sucks but what can you do.

So today I heard that Doug is moving to St. Louis in 3 weeks. Apparently he met some girl on X box live and theyve been talking for a couple months. She came out here to see him a couple times and hes now all in love. Can you believe that shit? How the fuck do you hang out with a girl a couple times and then decide to quit your job and move cross country! I tell you what she must have a golden pussy to pull that kinda shit. What the fuck is he thinking?! I could see after maybe taking a couple long vacations and then deciding, but damn! They don't even know each other. Its one thing to talk on the phone for a couple months but living together is entirely different. After a few months the little things that were cute at first can become repulsive. But hes a grown man and if hes gonna fuck up, he has every right to. Oh, and his going away party is Sat, the night before Halloween. What night is Draculas Ball? Cause I aint missing this one. I gotta check that out.

No school tonight- thank you Christopher Columbus
Sweet, no school tonight so its time to start a new painting. I was hoping to work on a specific one but a one night quicky will do just fine. Even though my hand is fucking cramped from this bullshit at work. For seven hours today I scraped dried rabbit skin glue off of the back of a painting. Its tedious as hell, you lightly soak the back of the painting and leave wet paper towels on it, then you start scraping with an xacto knife. The painting is three feet by four feet and since its from the 1800's, its delicate as hell. One wrong move and you rip through to the front. Fortunately that only happened twice and left minimal damage. But anyway enough of work, I have a tendecy to talk about it too much cause I love what I do. I see theres a new night getting started at Ulana's on Saturdays. Could somebody please start a goth party on Fridays? Christ, you think somebody would pick up on that one. Oh, and I watched that Frankenstein flick on TV last night, it was pretty good. The ending sucked but I guess theyre gonna try and make a series about it. And what the fuck was inside that one guys stomach? Frankenjunior? Way to rip off Alien.

Its about time I wrote in this thing
I just finished a painting for this guy who wanted a portrait of his father to hang in his new restaurant. He wanted his father wearing a traditional costume of his homeland and only had a drawing to show me how it looked. It turned out pretty good I think, more importantly he thought it was good. Im lovin the extra money but the real rush comes from selling a painting. Yeah! Its funny, at work I fix paintings that are like a hundred thousand dollars and it doesnt even feel half as good as selling one of your own. I also finished my painting for the show Ive been planning for ever. Its a serpent hanging from a canopy bed eating its egg as its giving birth. Heh heh. Its a symbolism for child abuse, get it? Well anyway time to move onto the next one. Im gonna have to take some reference photos for this one. And I gotta get fatboy to pose for it. I hope he will cause the last time he posed for a semi-revealing shot, me and Demo hogtied him in his skivees and took pictures like he was a prize deer strapped to the front of a truck. That was fucking hilarious. One day hes gonna go postal on us for some of the shit we pull. But anyway I gotta run some errands before the Frankenstein flick on TV tonight. It looks so good. Its about time someone came up with a good horror flick right before halloween.
